Mood Swings, a term common in the behaviour and nature of all human
beings. Sometimes we are on a real high and then the next second we don’t like
our surroundings or anything else beside us.
We all have been
victimized by mood swings some time or the other. When we suddenly remember of an
awful incident, heartbreak, about someone who has hurt our feelings, some day
to day stress or tensions, the list can be endless like this. Mood Swings are like
tequila shots which hit instantly and their after effects takes a while to fade
off. We all have our ways to deal with the tormentor, off course we all are fighters.
Here is my list of some quick fixes which I think takes over the mood swing and our mood, swings in the right direction and we start to feel may be not
completely good but definitely better again!
The Top 5 Tips:
1. Listening to Music
This is a Quote which I had heard long ago but has stayed
with me since. So, when you feel down and out and you want to get rid of it and
that too instantly. THEN. Plug in Headphones, Turn up the music and Let the record play and Shut the world
outside. Hit it off with your two three favourite tracks and afterwards u will
feel much lighter and the joy in ur heart and the smile on your face will be
back
2. Get a Cuppa
Recently I read a book and the main character in the book, sips tea when in emotional distress. Ditto.. Having a mood swing and cant cope
up with it? Grab a cup of Tea or Coffee or any any other Hot Beverage. It will
re enegise you immediately, the hot cuppa will take away the drowsyness and
negative emotions with it.
3. Talk to your Best Friend
Best Friends are the only people with whom you can discuss
nonsense and the best part is that, that nonsense is well respected too. So
next time when you feel hard to cope up with a wrong swing. Grab the phone and do
some talking or nonsense and get respected for nonsense. Your mood will lighten
quickly and world will again become a beautiful place. Yes Friends can have
that awesome effect on us!
4. Chocolate
If your best friend is not picking your phone then rush to a
store and buy your fav bar of Chocolate. Gobble it down and it can make you feel
like a child again. Scientifically choc especially dark choc is known to reduce
stress level resulting in instant improvement in mood. Girls, Please don't worry about the extra kilos, you can shed them off when you are in good mood!
5. Bond With Nature
If suddenly you have started feeling low and mood not in
control. Go get some Fresh Air. Taking a stroll in the park or just watching
the sky blanky for some minutes can lift up your spirits and mood. Looking at
birds, fresh flowers, green grass, the sea
can also be useful. All this can prove to be very relaxing and ur mood
might get the correct direction
